I know Christians who suffer from debilitating mental illnesses. I know Christians who are in very rough shape physically, and also some with emotional problems.
But this world and all that we suffer while here are temporary. Eternity will be much different, for both the saved and the unsaved, and while it is a Blessing to know that I will be in Heaven, it is beyond hurtful to know hat some of my family and friends will not be there, will instead be suffering.
My prayer to God is a petition asking Him to extend His Grace to those I care about who are not yet saved. If you're reading this, you are probably on my list.Doughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16007272910234771974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14577752.post-83674223604605226322011-05-13T13:26:06.609-06:002011-05-13T13:26:06.609-06:00Once again I agree with you, Doug. I think the only name to which Harold Camping is bringing ridicule is... Harold Camping. Most of us heathen know quite well that this isn't Christian doctrine. (Most heathen think Judgment Day won't come on any other day either, but that's beside the point.)Luciahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02344151648498823945noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14577752.post-90385512120305459162011-05-13T11:50:32.239-06:002011-05-13T11:50:32.239-06:00By the bye-I would LOVE to be in the stands of Fen...By the bye-I would LOVE to be in the stands of Fenway the weekend of the 21st...but it isn't going to happen. I would leave this moment if God wanted me there.
If we were taken up, and the Tribulation were to begin, it would be the most horrible time imaginable...but it would be Just.
And it would mean that no future generations would be in danger of going to hell-with Christ ruling from Jerusalem there would be Peace and order all though the world. Who wouldn't love that?Doughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16007272910234771974noreply@blogger.com
