I Don't Want Justice

I don't want justice. If I have been dealt with unfairly, that's livable.
If I've been at odds, at crossed purposes with someone
I don't ask God for justice.
I ask God for peace.
Those who seem to have nothing but contempt
Who see nothing of worth in me
I don't ask God to punish them~
just  peace.

    as you might assume anyway, I am in conflict with some. Man is born to trouble as surely as the sparks fly upward.
    If I were to get up on a high horse and curse those in conflict with me, what kind of Gospel would I be preaching?
    I'm older, and hopefully wiser.
    I represent the King of Peace who taught us to love our enemies, love and do not curse.
    Here's the thing-I know that I stand only by the Grace of God. I love that Grace so much that I want even my worst enemies to partake of it.
    If they did, we would no longer be at odds.
    And we would share Peace.
