I was having my morning coffee, catching the news at CNN’s website, when I noticed something about a plane accident in New York City. I moved on and was visiting my other ‘bookmarks’ but after a few minutes I thought I should go back and read about that airplane. Then I ran to the TV just in time to see the second plane hit.
That was how I discovered that 9-11-2001 would be burned into our consciousness forever, just as December 7th, 1941 had been 60 years earlier.
