Jah-she flopped instead of flipped and landed her firmament in the water backwards.
On the largest possible global stage she went all Laces Out.

Why?
Because she's young and will get over this.
Because one bad dive doesn't define an athelete.
Because she is among the world's best, who won the right to represent her country in Rio.
People who never make mistakes never improve.
Nadezhda Bazhina reminds me that we all fail at times, and it humbles us.
That is good.
