What, Me Worried?

Psalm 46
God the Refuge of His People
For the choir director. A Psalm of the sons of Korah, set to Alamoth. A Song.
1 God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change
And though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea;
3 Though its waters roar and foam,
Though the mountains quake at its swelling pride.
Selah.
4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
The holy dwelling places of the Most High.
5 God is in the midst of her, she will not be moved;
God will help her when morning dawns.
6 The nations made an uproar, the kingdoms tottered;
He raised His voice, the earth melted.
7 The LORD of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our stronghold.
Selah.
8 Come, behold the works of the LORD,
Who has wrought desolations in the earth.
9 He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth;
He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two;
He burns the chariots with fire.
10 “Cease striving and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
11 The LORD of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our stronghold.
Selah.

My my my, aren't we in a season of turmoil! Our misbegotten financial failure is fevering markets around the world. Ho Hum.
This is what happens when Man rejects God. I've been broker than broke in my life, but whether I have a nickel or millions, God is there for me and all of His Children.
Don't worry. Be happy. Trust that no matter how much Man screws up, God is actually in charge. Those who created this mess want us all to pay for cleaning it up.
And they want to be in charge of the cleanup, if for no other reason than to stay out of prison. The scoundrels pretend to be saviors. Of course, this brings us back to Galatians:
" 7Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. 8For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life." Galatians 6:7,8

You don't see any sowing to the Spirit in this financial mess, do you? So guess what? That's right.
If you are a Christian, we know that your treasure is in Heaven. May God Bless you today.
