Unequal But Free

Unequal but free. Christian vs everyone else. The two are not equal, but both are free to
live, breathe, and survive on this side of Eternity.
You will not find Christians living ABOVE anyone else-God mixes us in, the salt of the earth with the
rest of the earth, for His good purposes.
But we aren't equal.
Those whom God has gathered into His family have been blessed with new life, with His indwelling
Spirit.
Those who have not been made part of God's family are incapable of understanding what that means.

"21    This I recall to my mind,     Therefore I have hope.
22    The LORD’S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease,     For His compassions never fail.
23    They are new every morning;     Great is Your faithfulness.
24    “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul,     “Therefore I have hope in Him.”
25    The LORD is good to those who wait for Him,     To the person who seeks Him.
26    It is good that he waits silently     For the salvation of the LORD."

Lamentations 3:21-26
I've quoted these verses before here at FDW-I keep returning to this passage as it is filled with wisdom, blessings and promises from God which have comforted me throughout my life.
Those who have not been made part of God's family are incapable of understanding what that means.
For your beliefs (even unbelievers believe something) to be valid, my belief in God must be invalid.
For my belief in God to be valid, your belief must be invalid.
Unequal.
Both cannot be true.
Do you have proof? A witness? Some way of determining that God does not exist? No.
Do I have proof? A witness? Yes. The new life, the indwelling of God's Spirit.
Those who have not been made part of God's family are incapable of understanding what that means.

As I think that I am sometimes too obtuse: the two pooches are both sitting in a bathtub, but one is blind and one can see. Unequal.
The person who is unsure about God cannot honestly tell who is right, who's God is God, if there is one.
But a Christian, who has the indwelling of the Spirit is absolutely certain that God exists, and sees all other 'faiths' as invalid.
Back to the pooches for a moment.
To me, the one that can see represents Christians.
To you, quite possibly the one that is blind represents Christians, and you identify with more with the one who's eyes are open.
See? Unequal but free.
