The Quieter Man

Here's the here's, friends. Watched John Ford's "The Quiet Man" again last night, and it was as good as ever. The principals (above) plus Maureen Ohara (also above) got together for a corker of a County Cork
Kind of show. Good stuff-watch it for St. Paddy's Day.
I am constantly reminded of and experiencing the Blessings of God in my life. Especially in the midst of
all kinds of chaos, God is there and all is right. How does this tie in with the movie?
Every good movie has conflict and resolution. Every life has conflicts we hate and resolutions which are not always to our liking.
But the Christian has something else-we have God who supplies the best possible Happy Ending for all that
He brings into His family.
The best news is that God still saves people, and the family is growing bigger every day.
Praise God for His Loving-kindness!

This is strange. My cat is sleeping on a bed right behind me, and she's making noises like she's having a nightmare. Cat's have nightmares?
Another good fun conflict/resolution movie: "Double Wedding" with Myrna Loy and William Powell. Might watch that one this week.
